Trump reveals how long a war with Iran would last
US President Donald Trump stated, "A war with Iran could last another 3 weeks. We have eliminated 8 small speedboats."
The fragile ceasefire in effect between Iran and the US has come under tension once again due to developments around the Strait of Hormuz. It is reported that the clashes, which had ceased with the ceasefire, have reignited in the region.
US President Donald Trump, stating that the ongoing war with Iran could continue for another three weeks, said "The US has eliminated 8 of Tehran's small speedboats." he said.
The Fars News Agency, known for its proximity to Iran, announced that two US commercial vessels were stranded in a rocky area in the southern parts of the Strait of Hormuz.
Mohammad Ghalibaf also criticized the US in a post on the X platform on May 5. Ghalibaf stated that the US and its allies had violated the ceasefire and that the blockade in place was putting the security of maritime transport and energy shipments at risk. The Iranian official remarked, "A new balance is being established in the Strait of Hormuz. For the US, 'maintaining the current situation' is unsustainable."
