Trump selects Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has selected former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence.
Another name has been confirmed for the cabinet of Donald Trump, who won the U.S. presidential election held on November 5 and is expected to take office on January 20, 2025.
In a statement, Trump announced that he has selected former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence. Trump stated, "Tulsi has fought for our country and the freedoms of all Americans for over 20 years.
As a former Democratic presidential candidate, she has broad support in both parties, and she is now a proud Republican. I know Tulsi will bring the fearless spirit that has defined her illustrious career to our intelligence community, championing our constitutional rights and securing peace through strength.
