Trump sets a date, saying 'something very big will happen': Will he enter the war?

As another war breaks out in the Middle East with the attacks Israel has been carrying out against Iran for 6 days and Iran's retaliation, a striking statement has come from the US, whose position in this event is being debated.

US President Donald Trump answered questions from members of the press in the White House garden.

Trump spoke about what he has in mind regarding the Israel-Iran war.

'LET IRAN SURRENDER'

The US President expressed his desire for Iran to take a step back, saying, "I cannot say if we will strike Iran. Tehran has no threat right now. Their air defenses are gone. We want Iran to surrender unconditionally. Otherwise, we will blow up their nuclear facilities. They have been shouting 'Death to America' for 40 years. We are constantly being threatened by Iran, and we cannot allow them to have nuclear weapons."

'IRAN REACHED OUT, I SAID 'TOO LATE''

Claiming that Iran had reached out to the US, Trump said, "Iran reached out, I said it was too late. They wanted to come to the White House." Stating that Iran has been left completely defenseless, Trump added, "I don't know how much longer this situation will continue. There is a huge difference between a week ago and today. They had a negative approach. Nothing is over, we will see what happens."

HE POINTED TO NEXT WEEK

Continuing his remarks, Trump pointed to the coming week and said that "something very big" could happen, stating, "We will see what happens, nothing is over. Something big will happen in a week or less than a week."
