Trump speaks out following talks with Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump, in a message posted on his personal social media account, stated that steady and constructive progress is being made in the search for an agreement with Iran. Trump reiterated that he has warned his representatives conducting the negotiations not to act hastily. He included the phrase, "There is no rush, time is on our side," in his post.

Emphasizing that the meetings held are focused on definitively preventing Tehran from developing nuclear weapons in any way, Trump underscored that the negotiations are being conducted with determination.

The U.S. President shared information that the American navy will continue its maritime blockade of Iranian ports until a final agreement is reached with Iran, stating that both sides must maintain their composure. "Neither side should rush and they should do it right. No mistakes should be made," he assessed.

While noting that U.S.-Iran contacts are being conducted more professionally and effectively than before, Trump gave a clear message that Iran should not possess nuclear weapons. The U.S. President thanked the relevant countries in the Middle East for their contributions to the process and hinted that there could be broader diplomatic cooperation in the region. "Who knows, maybe the Islamic Republic of Iran might want to join the Abraham Accords," he commented.
