Trump's bold claims on Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Palestine wars: 'If I were president...'
Former US President Donald Trump argued that his likely opponent in the November 5 elections, Joe Biden, has remained weak against China and Russia, and claimed that if he were president during this period, the war in Ukraine and Hamas's October 7 attacks would not have occurred.
The strongest Republican presidential candidate for the November 5 elections, Donald Trump, participated in a live broadcast on Fox News in the state of Iowa, where primary elections are set to begin on January 15.
Choosing a different channel on the evening when his other rivals in the Republican Party, former US Permanent Representative to the UN Nikki Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, were participating in a live broadcast on CNN, Trump touched upon numerous issues related to domestic and foreign policy.
Arguing that Biden has remained weak in foreign policy, Trump stated, "Today you have chaos. Joe Biden cannot put two sentences together, yet he is the one representing us against Putin, Xi, and all the other smart leaders."
Claiming that Russia would not have entered Ukraine if he were president, Trump said, "The war in Ukraine would never have happened; Russia would never have gone in (to Ukraine). The recent attack on Israel would never have happened."
CALLED BIDEN A 'WEAK LEADER'
Drawing attention to the fact that no Americans taken hostage by Hamas have been rescued yet, Trump argued that the Biden administration has shown "weak leadership" on this point as well.
On the other hand, making assessments regarding domestic policy, Trump claimed that there is a serious illegal immigration problem in the country and that Biden has done nothing in response.
Referring to irregular migrants who were provided shelter in a school in New York, Trump said that if he becomes president, everyone who entered the US illegally will be deported.
