Trump's edited Gaza post sparks backlash on social media

US President Donald Trump shared a video created with artificial intelligence technology on his Truth Social account. The video presents a scenario in which the Gaza Strip has been transformed into a tourist destination. In this scenario, Trump shows himself and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vacationing.

At the beginning of the video, there are scenes of children fleeing from armed individuals among piles of rubble. Then, the text 'What's next?' appears on the screen in the colors of the US flag. Subsequent frames depict Gaza as a city filled with luxury cars and skyscrapers.

The video also includes scenes where Trump is adorned with gold figures and dancing with belly dancers. Footage of Elon Musk eating traditional food and scattering money around was also added to the video. The video also features frames of Trump and Netanyahu lying side-by-side on lounge chairs.

AMERICANS REACT

Trump's post caused a wide stir on social media. Many users on Instagram reacted to the post. Many people, including Trump supporters, wrote comments criticizing the video.

A Trump supporter who uses the slogan 'Make America Great Again' stated, 'Trump, I voted for you for a better economy, better laws, and to take care of our country. Focus on the future of our nation, don't create obstacles for other countries.'

Another user expressed their opinion by saying, 'What is this AI nonsense? I don't want my taxes spent on the destruction of another country.'

TRUMP'S GAZA PLAN

Trump previously spoke about his plans to take over the Gaza Strip during a joint press conference with Netanyahu at the White House. Stating that Gaza has become a complete zone of destruction, Trump argued that Palestinians should leave the region.

The US President claimed that it would be better for Palestinians to go to new settlements to be built in neighboring countries such as Egypt and Jordan. Trump also suggested that Palestinians have no other option but to leave Gaza.

The video shared by Trump stands in complete contrast to the current situation in Gaza. The region has been in a state of massive destruction for many years due to ongoing conflicts and a blockade. The luxury life and tourist scenario shown in the video do not align with reality.
