Trump's first comment following Iran's missile attack on Israel: 'When I was president...'

Following Iran's missile attack on Israel, former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump issued a statement.

Trump harshly criticized the US President Joe Biden administration, stating that conflicts are increasing globally and that the US lacks leadership. Trump said, "The world is on fire and spiraling out of control. We have no leadership in our country. Joe Biden is a virtually invisible president, and Kamala Harris is completely missing."

Arguing that Harris is focused on fundraising activities, Trump stated that the current administration has put the US in a weak position. Asserting that Iran was under control during his presidency, Trump said, "Iran was broke and desperate to make a deal. But under Biden and Harris, terror is spreading everywhere."

HE REFERENCED HIS OWN TERM

Accusing the current administration of bringing the world to the brink of war, Trump said, "When I was president, there was no war in the Middle East, there was no inflation, and the disaster in Afghanistan would not have happened."

Stating that peace would be restored to the world if he were to become president again, Trump claimed that if Kamala Harris were to remain in office for another four years, the world would be dragged into a major crisis.
