U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the American people following the armed attack on two National Guard personnel near the White House. Emphasizing that the cowardly attack was an act of pure evil and terrorism, Trump said, "This attack is a crime against our entire nation. This is a crime against humanity. This evening, the hearts of all Americans are with the two wounded members of the West Virginia National Guard and their families." Underlining that they are filled with justified anger and determination alongside pain and sorrow, Trump stated, "As President of the United States, I am determined to ensure that the attacker who committed this atrocity pays the highest possible price."

"PROTECTED STATUS EXTENDED BY BIDEN"

Confirming the information reflected in the public domain regarding the attacker's nationality, Trump said, "I can say that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is certain that the suspect in custody is a foreign national who entered our country from Afghanistan." Holding former U.S. President Joe Biden and his government responsible for the suspect's arrival in the U.S., Trump criticized, "The attacker was brought from that country, one of the hells on earth, in September 2021 on those infamous flights organized by the Biden administration that everyone talks about. No one knew who these people coming from there were. Nothing was known. This person's protected status was extended by a law signed by President Biden; Biden is the most unsuccessful president in the country's history."

"WE WILL NOT TOLERATE SUCH ATTACKS"

Expressing that the attack once again reveals the greatest national security threat the U.S. is facing, Trump said, "No country can tolerate such a risk that endangers its own existence." Citing the U.S. state of Minnesota as a basis for his claims, Trump said, "We can give Minnesota as an example, where hundreds of thousands of Somalis are exploiting our country and destroying that once-great state. Billions of dollars are being lost, and Somali gangs; they come from a country that doesn't even have a government, law, water, army, or anything. While their representatives in our country lecture us about our Constitution and how bad our country is, we will not tolerate such attacks against law and order by people who should not be in our country."

Stating that every foreign national who entered the country from Afghanistan during the Biden era should be re-examined, Trump said, "And we must take all necessary steps to ensure the removal of all other foreigners who do not belong here or provide no benefit to our country. If they don't love our country, we don't want them. America will never bow to terror and will never surrender."

"I HAVE ORDERED THE DEPLOYMENT OF 500 ADDITIONAL GUARDS"

Underlining that they will not abandon the mission that the two personnel, who were attacked while protecting Washington D.C., performed with honor, Trump said, "For this reason, I have ordered the Department of Defense to deploy 500 additional guards to protect our capital. We will make America completely safe again, and we will deliver the person who carried out this barbaric attack to justice quickly and decisively, if the bullets coming from the opposite direction haven't already done the job." Commemorating the two National Guard personnel who were attacked while on duty with gratitude and thanking all U.S. law enforcement, Trump called on the American people to pray for the two severely wounded personnel and their families.
