Trump's reaction to NATO: We don't need it anymore
US President Trump, who sought help from NATO countries to overcome the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz but did not receive a response to his calls, said in a new statement that they no longer need help.
In a new assessment regarding the course of the war, Trump made the following statements:
"We no longer need the help of NATO countries, and we don't want it; we never wanted it.
We will protect them, but they will do nothing for us, especially when we need it.
Fortunately, we have destroyed the Iranian military."
US President Donald Trump stated that Iran can no longer threaten the US's allies in the Middle East or the world.
TRUMP SAID UK PRIME MINISTER STARMER DISAPPOINTED HIM
Donald Trump continued his remarks as follows:
"I am disappointed with NATO. We spend trillions of dollars on NATO, but if they are not providing us with help, then I think this is an issue that needs to be evaluated. I don't need Congress to make a decision (regarding NATO). You probably know, I can make this decision myself."
US President Donald Trump, in a statement regarding when the attacks on Iran will end, said, "If we withdrew right now, it would take them 10 years to get back on their feet. But we are not ready to withdraw yet. We will withdraw in the near future, and in a very near future at that."
Targeting UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump said, "I am disappointed because Keir was ready to send two aircraft carriers after our victory, even though there is no threat to aircraft carriers right now. I like him. I think he is a good man, but I am disappointed."
Donald Trump criticized Europe's stance on the Strait of Hormuz, stating, "We thought Europe would help with this, because they have minesweepers."
