Trump's statement on Iran: No definitive conclusion reached

Making statements regarding the meeting, Trump said, "I have just finished my meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and various representatives.

It was a very good meeting, and the tremendous relationship between the two countries continues.

No definitive conclusion was reached, other than my insistence that negotiations with Iran continue and that we see whether an agreement can be reached."

In statements made on his social media account, US President Trump said the following:

I have just finished my meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and various representatives. It was a very good meeting, and the tremendous relationship between the two countries continues. No definitive conclusion was reached, other than my insistence that negotiations with Iran continue and that we see whether an agreement can be reached. I informed the Prime Minister that if an agreement can be reached, that would be my preference.

If it cannot be reached, we will see what the outcome will be. Iran chose not to make a deal last time and faced Operation "Midnight Hammer" - that did not turn out well for them. I hope they act more reasonably and responsibly this time. We also discussed the tremendous progress made in Gaza and in the region in general. There is truly PEACE in the Middle East.
