Trump's striking proposal for hardened criminals! 'In exchange for money...'

U.S. President Donald Trump made significant remarks at a Republican Party House of Representatives policy meeting held at the National Doral Resort in Miami.

Stating that America's "golden age" has begun, Trump said, "I think it's a good thing that we're talking about it." He also reiterated his criticisms regarding the control of the Panama Canal, saying, "China has actually taken it over, and we're not going to let that happen." Emphasizing that the canal is "one of the most profitable things ever built," Trump criticized the 1977 treaty that transferred control of the canal to Panama.

"WE DO NOT WANT VIOLENT CRIMINALS IN OUR COUNTRY"

In his speech, Trump also touched upon border security and the issue of illegal immigrants. "We are tracking down, detaining, and removing illegal alien criminals from our country. We make no apologies for that, and we are moving very quickly," Trump said, noting that he aims to take measures not only against illegal immigrants but also against violent criminals among U.S. citizens. "I don't want these violent criminals in our country, just as I don't want illegal aliens who come from other countries and behave badly," said Trump, expressing that rapid steps would be taken to deport these individuals. He further stated, "I hope we get approval to get them and others out of our country and let them be taken to a foreign country for a very small fee and be taken care of by others." Trump suggested that this policy would save money by reducing the federal government's reliance on private prisons.

CITIZENSHIP DEBATES: "IT WAS ENACTED FOR SLAVE CHILDREN"

Defending his executive order ending the practice of granting citizenship to children born in the U.S. to immigrant families, Trump said this practice was originally developed for the children of slaves. "If you look at it, it was really for slave children. It wasn't intended for everyone to fly into our country or cross borders from all over the world and think they would become citizens," he said. He also stated that this practice was misunderstood, adding, "I hope the courts will understand this at some point."

"IT WILL BE THE MOST SUCCESSFUL CONGRESS IN HISTORY"

Despite the Republicans' slim majority in Congress, Trump claimed that the current Congress would be the "most successful" in U.S. history. "As long as we are united, the 119th Congress will be remembered as the most successful Congress and the most successful Republican majority in American history. I think we have a chance to do that," he said, expressing his belief in his party's success.
