Ugandan general who brazenly threatened Turkey backtracks: Deletes posts
Uganda Defence Forces Commander Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who made posts containing arrogant demands and threats against Turkey, backtracked shortly after and deleted most of his messages.
Uganda Defence Forces Commander Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s striking statements regarding Turkey have become a hot topic on social media. In posts made on the X platform, Kainerugaba demanded 1 billion dollars from Turkey and, not stopping there, requested that Turkey’s most beautiful woman be sent to him.

DELETED HIS POSTS
It was observed that Kainerugaba, who stated that he gave Turkey one month to meet his demands, later deleted most of the posts in question. There has been no new statement for hours from Kainerugaba, who most recently made a post claiming he had left his country to go to Israel.

KNOWN AS THE “TWITTER GENERAL”
Kainerugaba also expressed that he wanted to send 100 thousand soldiers to Israel for a potential war with Iran. He further claimed that he could provide a military force of 500 thousand people capable of “eating” Iran. It is known that Uganda’s current military personnel count is approximately 45 thousand, and its defense budget is around 1 billion dollars.
Kainerugaba, who frequently makes headlines with his extraordinary outbursts on social media, is known in the public eye as the “Twitter general.” It is assessed that Kainerugaba, who is the son of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, has long been positioned for the country’s leadership.
HAD PREVIOUSLY MADE HEADLINES
Kainerugaba had also drawn attention in 2022 with his statements regarding Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Stating that he had proposed marriage to the Italian leader in exchange for a dowry of 100 cows, Kainerugaba described Meloni as “fearless” and said that if the proposal was not accepted, he would invade Rome.
