Unprecedented threat from Trump to Iran! 'We can destroy it in 1 hour, it would take them 25 years to rebuild'

US President Donald Trump answered journalists' questions at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland upon his return to Washington following his engagements in Kentucky. Trump made assessments regarding the military process being conducted with Iran and potential steps by the US.

“THE WAR IS BEING CONDUCTED IN THE BEST WAY EVER SEEN”

Speaking about the conflicts with Iran, Trump argued that the operations are continuing successfully.

Trump said, “The war is being conducted in the best way ever seen. Other countries are saying this too. Great countries, powerful countries, have said they have never witnessed anything like this before. They also agree with what I am doing. They say this is a bad, evil country.”

Regarding a question about potential Iran-linked cells within the US, Trump stated that he had been briefed on the matter, saying, “I have. Because of Biden’s open border policy, many people have come in. But we know where most of them are. I believe we are keeping them all under surveillance.”

Addressing a question on whether strategic oil reserves would be utilized, Trump said, “We will do it very quickly. And then we will refill them. We will refill our reserves.”

“WE ARE FLYING COMPLETELY FREELY OVER IRAN”

Trump claimed that Iran’s military capacity has been largely neutralized.

“They are almost at the end of the road now. But that doesn’t mean we will finish it immediately. Still, that is where they are. They have no navy, no air force, no anti-aircraft systems, no control systems at all. And we are flying completely freely over Iran,” said Trump, arguing that the US holds military superiority in the region.

Stating that the situation in the strait is good, Trump said, “We destroyed all their ships. They have some missiles, but not many. I think we are in a very good position. The main issue is that we win this. Win it quickly, but win it.”

THREAT TO IRAN’S ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE

Trump also touched upon potential military options regarding Iran’s infrastructure.

“When will we stop? We don’t want to let this grow again. Ideally, we would like to see someone there who knows what they are doing. In other words, someone who can build a country. There is one more thing. We could hit certain parts of Tehran and other places. If we do that, it would become almost impossible for them to rebuild their country. But we don’t want to do that. However, we could hit their electrical infrastructure. We can destroy Iran’s electrical capacity in one hour, and it would take them 25 years to rebuild it. Therefore, ideally, we will not do that.”
