UNRWA Commissioner-General announces:

Lazzarini pointed out that more than 80 percent of the population has been displaced in Gaza, which Israel has been bombing since October 7.

CHILDREN SEPARATED FROM THEIR FAMILIES

Pointing out that 17 thousand children in Gaza have been left unprotected or separated from their families, Lazzarini used the following expressions:

"In 4 months of war, nearly 100 thousand people in Gaza have been killed, injured, or are currently missing. This corresponds to approximately 5 percent of the population. You can easily understand what this would mean in your city or country."

"THERE WILL BE NO WINNER"

Emphasizing that the conflicts in Gaza continue, Lazzarini stated, "The war continues unabated, but there will be no winner. There will only be pain, misery, and grief. It is time for a ceasefire.

A different path is needed for the well-being of people in Gaza, in Israel, elsewhere in the region, and beyond." he assessed.

According to the statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, 27 thousand 478 people, the majority of whom are women and children, have been killed and 66 thousand 835 Palestinians have been injured in the attacks carried out by Israel since October 7.
