US media reports: When and from where will Iran attack Israel?

Tehran is expected to launch a retaliatory strike against Israel following the strikes Israel carried out on military sites in Iran.

In a report by the US-based news site Axios, citing two Israeli sources, it was stated that Israeli intelligence has provided information that Iran is preparing to attack Israel from Iraqi territory in the coming days, before the US presidential election on November 5.

The report, which noted that Iran is expected to launch a large number of drones and ballistic missiles from Iraq, stated, "Conducting the attack not directly from Iran but through pro-Iranian militias in Iraq could be an attempt by Iran to prevent another Israeli strike on its strategic targets."

Meanwhile, the US news channel CNN reported yesterday, citing a high-level source, that Iran would give a "harsh" response to Israel's latest attack and that this was expected to take place before the US elections.

RETALIATORY ATTACKS

In response to Israel's attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria, on April 1, Iran carried out a drone attack on Israel on April 13. Iran also launched an attack on Israel with 180 ballistic missiles on October 1 in retaliation for the killings of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and Deputy Commander of the Revolutionary Guards Abbas Nilforoushan. In retaliation for the October 1 attack, Israel targeted military sites in Iran on October 26, an attack in which 5 people, including 1 civilian and 4 soldiers, lost their lives.
