US military strikes drug-trafficking boat in the Caribbean
The US military announced that it carried out an attack on a boat identified as carrying drugs in the Caribbean, stating, "3 male narco-terrorists were killed in this strike."
While operations by the US military against boats suspected of drug trafficking in the Caribbean Sea and the Eastern Pacific remain a current topic, a new statement regarding an attack has come from the US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM).
SOUTHCOM announced that the joint task force conducting Operation Southern Spear carried out an attack on a boat identified as carrying drugs in the Caribbean, under the instructions of SOUTHCOM commander General Francis L. Donovan.
The statement emphasized that intelligence confirmed the boat belonged to groups designated as "terrorist organizations" and was traveling along a drug trafficking route in the Caribbean, adding, "3 male narco-terrorists were killed in this strike. No US military personnel were harmed."
