US President Trump: China and Russia will not sell weapons to Iran

Trump made statements about China and Russia on his social media account.

Stating that during his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, the Chinese leader told him that he would not provide or sell weapons to Iran under any circumstances, and that this also applied to Chinese companies, Trump said, "Considering our relationship, I trust his word. Besides, I am doing him very big favors."

"PUTIN KNOWS I SOLD WEAPONS TO NATO COUNTRIES, NOT UKRAINE"

Noting that Russian President Vladimir Putin also told him that he would not sell weapons to Iran "despite the terrible war going on in Ukraine," Trump remarked, "(Putin) knows that I sold weapons to NATO countries, not to Ukraine."

Donald Trump stated that NATO countries pay full price and that he has "no idea" how those weapons are distributed, adding, "Although it is often mentioned, I do not think the two great countries are involved in this business (arms sales to Iran). If they were, it would be very bad for them. It would certainly not be in their interest."
