US President Trump's Gaza plan revealed: Palestinians to be displaced
Details of the 'Post-War Gaza' plan prepared by the US President Donald Trump administration have emerged. The plan envisions placing Gaza under US trusteeship, displacing Palestinians, and transforming the region into a 'vacation and technology hub'.
The US-based Washington Post shared details of a 38-page plan prepared by the Trump administration for 'Post-War Gaza'. The document, titled 'Gaza Reconstruction, Economic Acceleration, and Transformation Trusteeship (TRUST)', envisions the administration of Gaza being taken over by the US for at least 10 years.
US TRUSTEESHIP IN GAZA
According to the plan, Gaza will be turned into a tourist vacation center and an advanced technology production zone under US control. The status of the region will be left entirely under Washington's supervision.
'VOLUNTARY DISPLACEMENT' FOR PALESTINIANS
The most controversial section in the document is the 'voluntary' displacement of the 2 million Palestinians living in Gaza.
According to the plan:
Each displaced Palestinian will be paid 5,000 dollars in cash.
Rent expenses will be covered for 4 years.
Those who do not migrate 'voluntarily' will be forced to live in 'closed and secure zones'.
ISRAELI SIGNATURES
The TRUST plan also includes the establishment of a 'Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF)' to take over the distribution of aid. It was stated that this foundation would be directed by Israel and that individuals who played a role in the major hunger crisis in Gaza have their signatures on the document.
GOAL OF 'MAKING THE MIDDLE EAST A TOURISM HUB'
Sources who wished to remain anonymous stated that the Trump administration is working on several scenarios for Gaza and that this plan has not yet been finalized. However, it was noted that the plan is built upon Trump's idea of turning the 'Middle East into a tourism paradise'.
