US raises customs duty on China from 125 percent to 145 percent
The US has once again changed the tariffs it imposes on China. The customs duty rate has been increased to 145 percent.
A White House official confirmed to CNBC that the US customs duty on products imported from China has reached 145 percent.
With the latest presidential decree issued by US President Donald Trump, the customs duty rate applied to Beijing had been increased from 84 percent to 125 percent.
