US Secretary of State Blinken protested as 'genocide secretary'
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was protested by a group of pro-Palestine demonstrators during his testimony at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, where he was labeled a "genocide secretary."
As Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip continue for the 228th day, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was protested by a group of pro-Palestine demonstrators while testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
The protesters, who painted their hands red to represent the blood of Palestinians killed by Israel, shouted at Blinken, calling him a "war criminal," "genocide secretary," "bloody-handed butcher," and saying, "the blood of 40 thousand Palestinians is on his hands."
Blinken did not engage in an argument with the protesters and waited for them to be removed from the room to continue his speech.
