US sends message: 'We do not want the war in Gaza to expand, proxy forces should not take action'

According to the Fars News Agency, Amir-Abdollahian made evaluations regarding Israel's attacks on Gaza during a speech he gave in the city of Qom.

MESSAGE TO IRAN

Amir-Abdollahian stated, "Since the beginning of the war, the US has been sending us messages saying, 'We are not seeking an expansion of the war' and 'advise your proxy groups in the region not to take action against us.'"

Expressing that the Tehran administration has "repeatedly conveyed to the US that it is not seeking to expand the war," Amir-Abdollahian noted the following:

"We stated that they are lying. We said, 'If you are not seeking an expansion of the war, why are your bases using so much ammunition day and night for such a limited region as Gaza?'"
