Venezuelan President Maduro accuses Musk of inciting 'violence' in his country

Maduro made statements regarding the agenda on a private television channel in the capital, Caracas.

Targeting US businessman Musk regarding the presidential election in his country on July 28, Maduro said, "Elon Musk has invested at least 1 billion dollars in the coup, the fascist epidemic, and the violence during the electoral process in Venezuela."

Maduro argued that the far-right groups organizing protests against his government have received "strong" support from Musk.

Reiterating that the "US administration" and "Elon Musk" are behind the protests, Maduro stated, "For about a month, Elon Musk wrote every day that people were taking to the streets against Maduro and burning things, and in the end, what happened? Musk was defeated."

Touching upon Israel's ongoing attacks on Lebanon, Maduro also stated that they are in solidarity with the Lebanese people and that they have sent 14 tons of humanitarian aid in the first phase for Lebanese people who have taken refuge in Syria.
