Violent explosion at the US-Canada border
An explosion occurred in a vehicle crossing into the US from the Rainbow Bridge, which is located over the Niagara River on the US-Canada border.
Numerous ambulances and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
While investigations are underway to determine whether the explosion was a terrorist attack, crossings between the two countries have been halted. A small-scale fire broke out in the area following the explosion.
It was learned that the vehicle that exploded had entered the US from Canada.
According to local sources, 2 people in the vehicle that exploded died, and a border officer was injured.
Meanwhile, it was announced that Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau has been briefed on the incident.
