Warning from Iran regarding agreement negotiations: If threats continue, the process will not begin
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that threats must end for negotiations to begin.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in a post on a social media platform, recalled that millions of people attended the funeral ceremony of the country's former leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Araghchi stated that the Iranian people and armed forces are not affected by any external pressure.
Pointing to Article 13 of the memorandum of understanding, Araghchi stated that it is a condition for threats to end in order for negotiations regarding a final agreement to begin. The Iranian Minister said, "If threats continue, negotiations for a final agreement will not begin. Stay true to your signature."
In the statement, while the determination of the Iranian side in the current international process was highlighted, it was underlined that the other party is also expected to fulfill its commitments for a settlement.
