Warning from Iranian Foreign Ministry to Israel: 'The cost will be high'

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf issued a stern warning against the continuation of Israel's military actions in Lebanon in a statement made on the social media platform X. Ghalibaf also addressed the US support for Israel, stating that these steps would come at a 'high cost'.

In the statement, Ghalibaf emphasized that Iran views Lebanon and other Axis of Resistance allies as a whole, noting that any violation of the ceasefire would trigger serious reactions. Stating that Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also expressed his views on Lebanon clearly, Ghalibaf pointed out that the issue has found support in the international community.

Ghalibaf included the following remarks in his statement: 'Lebanon and the entire Axis of Resistance are inseparable parts of the ceasefire as allies of Iran. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif clearly focused on the Lebanon issue. There is nothing to step back from or deny. Ceasefire violations bring heavy costs and strong responses. Extinguish the fire immediately.'
