White House denies Wall Street Journal report on Trump and Epstein

The White House has issued a statement regarding a report published by the Wall Street Journal about U.S. President Donald Trump.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung denied the report published by the Wall Street Journal, which claimed that the Department of Justice had informed Trump last May that his name appeared in the Epstein files, stating that the report is a continuation of "fake news" directed against Trump. In his statement, Cheung said, "This is nothing more than a continuation of the fake news fabricated by Democrats and the liberal media."

In the report, which the Wall Street Journal based on unnamed senior officials, it was alleged that Attorney General Pam Bondi told President Trump during a routine briefing last May that his name appeared multiple times in the Epstein files.
