US Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer answered "yes" to the question of whether US troops would remain in Syria.
Following the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, a statement has come from the White House regarding whether US troops in Syria will withdraw from the region.
Speaking at a conference held in New York, US Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer addressed the presence of US troops in Syria, stating, "These troops are there for a very specific and important reason, not as some kind of bargaining chip. US troops have been there for more than 10 years to fight ISIS, and we remain committed to that mission."
Finer answered "yes" to the question of whether US troops would remain in Syria.
