White House: We had no prior knowledge of Israel's Syria strike
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that U.S. President Donald Trump was not aware of Israel's bombing of Syria and was caught off guard.
Leavitt noted that an agreement was reached in Syria following the intervention of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
The White House spokesperson reported that after the bombing of Syria and the strike on a church in Gaza, Trump called Netanyahu and demanded that he rectify the situation.
The Israeli military had struck the Holy Family Church in Gaza, and in a statement, it was claimed that this was an accident.

It has been suggested that some White House officials in the U.S. are concerned about what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu might do next, following his strikes on the Presidential Palace, the General Staff headquarters, and the Ministry of Defense in Syria.
Speaking to the news site Axios, some White House officials criticized Netanyahu, whose aggression is reportedly increasing, stating that he is "acting like a madman and constantly bombing everything."
One official pointed out that these actions by Netanyahu could undermine what U.S. President Donald Trump is trying to achieve and exhaust his goodwill.
