Trump said, "I would say if you love your heart, take an aspirin. But if you don't want little bruises, don't take aspirin. I take a big aspirin. They say when you take a big aspirin, you're going to bruise. The doctor said, 'you don't need to take this, sir, you are very healthy.' I said, 'I'm not going to take the risk.' This is one of the side effects of taking this medication."

Explaining that he hit his hand on a table during his contacts in Davos, Trump reminded that he uses aspirin regularly and that this medication can sometimes cause bruises on the skin. "I took an aspirin after hitting my hand on the table," said Trump, noting that he insisted on his decision to continue the medication.

WHITE HOUSE SPOKESPERSON EXPLAINED

White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt, in a statement to the American press, stated that Trump hit his hand on the corner of a signing table during an event and that the bruising occurred for this reason. Leavitt had previously assessed a similar bruise on Trump's hand as "tissue damage caused by frequent handshaking for someone who uses aspirin."

It is known that 77-year-old U.S. President Trump uses aspirin as part of a "standard cardiovascular prevention regimen."

While it was explained that the bruise on Trump's hand developed due to both an impact and the medication he uses, it was specifically emphasized that the President's general health is good.
