Zelensky's 'Trump' statement: A hope
Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky described Trump's second term as US president as "a hope for the resolution of many issues, including global problems."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has made a statement regarding Donald Trump becoming the US President once again.
Zelensky congratulated Donald Trump on his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States via his social media account.
Congratulating President Trump and the American people, Zelensky stated, "Today is a day of change, and it is also a day of hope for the resolution of many issues, including global problems. President Trump is always decisive, and his policy of peace through strength offers an opportunity to strengthen American leadership and achieve a lasting and just peace, which is the most important thing."
Wishing Trump success in his duties, Zelensky added, "We look forward to active and mutually beneficial cooperation. Together, we are stronger and can provide more security, stability, and economic growth for both the world and our nations."
