Diplomatic efforts regarding a peace agreement to end the Russia-Ukraine War continue. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a statement regarding the date on which certain documents would be signed as part of a peace agreement with Russia,announcing that some documents would be signed in early January as part of a peace agreement with Russia. "There are documents that will be ready to be signed in January. This depends on whether the parties are willing to sign," he said.

To successfully conclude the negotiationsfor a meeting with Russian PresidentVladimir Putin, Zelenskyy stated,"Webelieve there is an opportunity for a joint meeting of European, US, and Ukrainian leaders in January. We have raised the issue of holding a meeting with the Russians.I toldPresident Trump and European leaders,and I confirm it again now: I am ready for any type of meeting with Putin."any meeting format. Currently, the sixth document, which is in the negotiation stage, concerns the peace agreement and the implementation of security guarantees.Stating that there is astep-by-step planfor this, Zelenskyy said, "The sixth document is the exact plan we have submitted for discussion."

Zelenskyy had stated that following thetalksheld in Berlin, the capital of Germany, on December 16, five documents regarding ending the war were discussed, noting that some of thesewere related to security guarantees, whileothers were related to post-war recovery.
