Zelenskyy's 'We are ready to reach an agreement with Turkey' statement: Turkish businesspeople in Kyiv

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that they are ready to ratify the Free Trade Agreement with Turkey. In a post on social media, Zelenskyy announced that he hosted Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, and representatives of the Turkish business world in Kyiv.
Stating that the meeting was held following the recent discussion with Erdoğan, Zelenskyy said, 'The presence of the Turkish business world in Ukraine is of great importance.' The meeting addressed topics such as efforts to ensure lasting peace in Ukraine, the development of relations between the two countries, opportunities for cooperation in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and the participation of Turkish companies in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Emphasizing that Ukraine is ready to ratify the Free Trade Agreement with Turkey, Zelenskyy used the following expressions:
''Our country views Turkey as one of our strategic partners. We are ready to ratify this agreement during President Erdoğan's upcoming visit.''

ERDOĞAN AND ZELENSKYY MET
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy had paid a visit to Turkey following the meeting held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on February 17, which was attended by Russian and US delegations. A photograph taken while President Erdoğan was welcoming Zelenskyy at the Presidential Palace, showing a moment with an umbrella, had received widespread attention on social media.
