The collaboration between Ford Trucks and IVECO began with a non-binding letter of intent signed in 2024. With the Joint Development Agreement they signed in March 2025, the two companies decided to jointly carry out the design and engineering work for the new generation heavy commercial vehicle cabin.

Under the program, the two brands will produce and assemble the cabin they develop together in their own facilities. The cabins will be customized in line with the companies' design philosophies and customer expectations, and will be offered to the market under the Ford Trucks and IVECO brands.

COMPETITION TARGET IN THE EUROPEAN MARKET

The new generation cabin is planned to be developed with advanced safety features, an aerodynamic structure, and driver-focused design elements. The project aims to increase product quality, provide cost and scale advantages, and support competitiveness in the European market.

Emrah Duman, Vice President of Ford Trucks, stated that the new generation cabin program is one of the important product steps the brand has taken while preparing for the future of transportation.

With this collaboration we are conducting with IVECO, we aim to develop a strong cabin family that will comply with European regulations and offer advanced standards in the fields of safety, aerodynamics, comfort, and efficiency.
