Introduced by Microlino AG at the Geneva Motor Show, the Microlino Lite model has been launched to compete with the Citroen Ami. This model is offered to consumers at a more affordable price and, like the Citroen Ami, is designed to meet the L6e standard for license-free driving.
The Microlino Lite draws attention with its BMW Isetta-style design and is a two-seater car with a front-opening door. Unlike the Citroen Ami, it has a longer range. The model offers two different battery options with 5.5 kWh and 11 kWh capacities. Even the version with the lower battery capacity provides a range of 100 km, while with the 11 kW battery, this range increases up to 177 km.
The 5.5 kW battery version of the Lite model charges in 2 hours, while the 11 kW battery charges fully in 4 hours. The vehicle's charging capacity is 2.2 kW. Additionally, the monthly rental price for the Microlino Lite has been set at 156 euros or 169 dollars.
It is not yet clear whether the Microlino Lite model will be offered for sale in Turkey. However, in Europe, it can be used by 14-year-olds with a moped driver's license. It has been noted that if it were to come to Turkey, it would not meet B1 standards.
