The best-selling vehicle in Turkey in 2025 has been announced

While light commercial vehicle sales in Turkey grew by nearly 10 percent in 2025 compared to the previous year, Ford once again topped the list. Total sales approached 284 thousand.

The Turkish automotive market showed significant growth in the light commercial vehicle segment in 2025. The number of light commercial vehicles sold between January and December of last year increased by 9.97 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 283 thousand 904 units. With this sharp increase, automobile sales also rose by over 10 percent, exceeding 1 million.

Among light commercial vehicles, van models maintained their leadership in terms of body type with over 215 thousand sales and a 75.8 percent market share. They were followed by pickup trucks with approximately 26 thousand 500 units, while minibus and pickup models stood out as other important players in the market. In the caravan segment, sales decreased by 74 percent compared to the previous year, falling to 22 units.

At the top of the list, the Ford brand maintained its lead with 83 thousand 131 units. FIAT ranked second with 46 thousand 854 vehicles, and Opel ranked third with 27 thousand 471 sales. These three brands dominated 55 percent of the total market, with Ford's market share approaching 30 percent.

Peugeot settled into fourth place with 26 thousand 661 vehicle sales, while Citroen took the fifth spot with 23 thousand 622. Volkswagen with 23 thousand 605, Toyota with 15 thousand 761, Renault with 12 thousand 567, Mercedes-Benz with 9 thousand 850, and Iveco with 3 thousand 971 sales found their place in the top 10.

For the month of December specifically, Ford maintained its top position with 14 thousand 850 sales. It was followed by FIAT and Opel for the month. The growth trend in the sector and especially Ford's superiority over its competitors continued throughout the year.

In Turkey, where total light commercial vehicle sales were 258 thousand 168 last year, the increase experienced in 2025 once again demonstrated both the dynamic structure of the market and the vitality of commercial activities.
