Tesla Turkey has made significant changes to its sales calendar to reduce the issues caused by high demand and automation (bot) software that those wishing to purchase a Model Y have recently encountered. According to the new announcement from the company, Model Y sales will take place every weekday this July, and new vehicle inventory will be made available to users only at these times.
The sales days, initially planned for July 2-3, have been extended to the period between July 4 and July 31 with the new announcement. Thanks to the vehicle list being updated every weekday at 18:30, it is aimed for more customers to be able to purchase vehicles fairly.
A significant change has also been made to the purchasing conditions. The pre-order fee for the Model Y was previously applied as 50 thousand TL. In the new period, this fee has been increased to 175 thousand TL in order to manage demand more effectively. The priority payment will be collected by credit card during the order process, as is customary.
In its announcement on social media, Tesla Turkey stated, "We are updating our listing calendar, which we previously announced as July 2-3, to include a listing every weekday at 18:30 from July 4 to July 31 in order to provide you with a better purchasing experience. We are excited to reach more customers in Turkey by prioritizing production for Turkey at our Giga Berlin factory."
With the new listing policy, the problem of stocks running out in minutes, which has been experienced recently, is also intended to be reduced. Tesla officials stated that production for Turkey will be prioritized at the Giga factory in Berlin and emphasized that the new sales arrangement will contribute to customer satisfaction.
