Electric roar from Dodge: Charger Daytona unveiled!

Dodge's first electric car, the electric Charger, has been unveiled. The new model has managed to preserve the roar found in classic Charger models in its electric version as well.
One of the primary criticisms regarding electric cars is that they are quieter compared to internal combustion engines and do not provide the same feeling. With the new Charger it has electrified, Dodge is preserving the familiar engine roar while inviting fans of classic American muscle cars to purchase electric vehicles.
The new Daytona Scat Pack and Daytona R/T models of the Dodge Charger aim for the top of the list of the loudest electric cars. Stellantis, the owner of Dodge, stated, "The Dodge Charger Daytona models use the patent-pending Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system to deliver Hellcat-level sound output, setting the Charger apart from ordinary battery-electric vehicles." This system is an exhaust system located at the rear that produces sound rather than smoke. Technically, it is not an external speaker; it creates sound and vibration by passing airflow through channels.
The system is still under development and can currently produce a maximum of 126 decibels of sound. Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis stated that they want to increase this sound output even further, emphasizing that this is what defines muscle cars.
According to the plans, these models are scheduled to go on sale in mid-2024 as two-door versions and in 2025 as four-door versions. In the overall design, it is noticeable that the grille has been removed from the front panel and full-width LED headlights have been added. The vehicle features a dual electric motor with 670 horsepower in the Scat Pack model, which can reach 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. It has all-wheel drive and a battery capacity of 100.5 kWh, with a total battery capacity of 550 kW. The R/T model features a 496-horsepower motor.
In the interior design, it is seen that the vehicle's front console has been almost completely renewed and features a clean and minimal design. The interior, which has adjustable lighting, has been modernized with digital gauges and supported by a large infotainment screen.
