Tesla, one of the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturers, continues to expand its operations in the Turkish market. A new job posting opened as part of the brand's Turkey operations has excited electric vehicle owners.

According to the posting noticed by the Tesla Turkey community, the company is looking for a "Used Vehicle Refurbishment Coordinator" for its operations center in Istanbul. This move is considered the strongest sign that the brand will begin offering its own in-house trade-in and used vehicle buying and selling services.

WORK ON THE TRADE-IN SYSTEM WAS UNDERWAY

According to the job description in the posting, the coordinator to be hired will be responsible for the mechanical and cosmetic inspections of used vehicles. Managing the necessary repair processes and logistics stages from start to finish, preparing vehicle acceptance documents, tracking service visits, and supplying spare parts are also among the core responsibilities of the position.

The topic of Tesla offering trade-in support in Turkey had previously come to the agenda. In 2024, when a user asked whether they could trade in their current Model Y for a new model, Tesla official Emir Tunçyürek responded. Tunçyürek had stated that the trade-in system was not yet active but that work was being carried out on the matter.

The newly opened job posting shows that these efforts are nearing completion and that the system could be made available to Turkish users in the near future.
