Togg, which was a sponsor for an event featuring journalist Fatih Altaylı as a guest, announced that it has withdrawn from the organization following discussions on social media.
In a statement made from Togg's official account, the following expressions were used: ''We have decided to withdraw from the organization after our participation in the event became the subject of discussions outside of its intended purpose in some media outlets.''

While it was announced that Fatih Altaylı would also be present at the event, his previous negative remarks regarding Togg were brought to the agenda. Following the discussions on social media, Altaylı made the following statement:
"The truth eventually came out. Togg was among the sponsors of a multi-day event where I was also a speaker, and this was twisted into the lie that Togg was sponsoring me. Let me tell this herd of idiots and trolls something. I took part in a panel at that event last year as well. Togg was a sponsor then, too. I even had a long conversation with the Togg team and suggested that they 'broadcast from inside the newly opened factory using CCTV cameras and allow anyone who wants to see the production line over the internet.'
For some reason, they didn't do it. But let the troll crowd know that I am not getting any money from this. Not a single penny from the money coming from Togg's sponsorship enters my pocket. After the storm that was kicked up, I sent word to the organization yesterday saying, 'I wouldn't be offended at all if they cancel my speech,' and they said, 'That is out of the question.'"
