Volkswagen, one of the leading names in the automotive world, is preparing to refresh its popular model, which saw great interest in Turkey in the 2000s, and reintroduce it to the automotive market. Updated with modern equipment and contemporary design lines, the new Volkswagen Bora will first go on sale in Kazakhstan; if it receives interest, it will also take its place in global markets.
The new Bora was developed as the global version of the brand's Sagitar L model, which has achieved significant sales success in China. This model, which made a name for itself in the Turkish market for many years, will now be presented to car enthusiasts with a completely different look and rich equipment.
Standing out for C-segment users with its spacious interior, modern lines, and comfort features, the new generation Bora features a 4.8-meter body length and a curved roof design. The high-tech LED headlight sets on the exterior and the light strips at the rear give the vehicle a contemporary and dynamic feel.
In the cockpit, a driver-focused design catches the eye. In addition to the fully digital instrument cluster, the 15-inch large touchscreen multimedia display on the center console exceeds segment standards. With its 533-liter trunk volume, the vehicle also aims to provide a comfortable usage area, especially for large families.
Among the high-tech equipment, Matrix LED headlights, a panoramic glass roof, and a wireless smartphone charging unit are among the standard options. Additionally, equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and top-level safety features, the Bora also prioritizes driving safety.
The Bora, which holds an important place in the memories of car enthusiasts, was first introduced in 1998 as the European name for the Jetta and provided an experience ahead of its time with its durability and driving comfort. Now, it aims to return to the market in its renewed form, offering modern technology with a favorable price-performance balance.
