It is reported that Volkswagen is preparing a new product schedule for the 2027 Turkish market that focuses on electric models. According to information shared by journalist Emre Özpeynirci, the brand plans to offer three new electric cars from its ID series for sale in Turkey.
The ID. Polo is at the top of the list of these models. Expected to focus on urban use with its compact dimensions, the model is said to be positioned as one of the brand's more accessible electric cars.
Another model highlighted in Volkswagen's 2027 Turkey plan is the ID. Cross. Expected to be positioned in the crossover and B-SUV segment, the vehicle aims to appeal to users looking for a high seating position and practical utility.
The list also includes the fully electric ID. Tiguan, which is yet to be unveiled. Thus, Volkswagen is expected to expand its electric product range in Turkey by spreading it across different segments.
It is also noted that the brand will not be limited to electric models only. A special version of the Tayron is also planned to be brought to Turkey in 2027 for users who prefer internal combustion engine options. It was noted that this version will be offered for sale with a 2.0 TSI gasoline engine and an all-wheel-drive system.
