According to Saymaz, the joint candidacy of Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok in Ankara has been finalized.

In Istanbul, it is stated that Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has a 70 percent chance, while Fatih Mayor Mehmet Ergün Turan has a 30 percent chance. However, Saymaz noted that Yerlikaya is lukewarm about the candidacy.
Stating that "Yerlikaya being from Konya and having no connection to Istanbul other than his governorship is a disadvantage," Saymaz shared his view that "I wouldn't be surprised if Ergün Turan pops up as a surprise at the last minute."
