Postponed CHP PM Meeting Set for January 3: Istanbul Candidates to be Announced on January 5

The Party Assembly (PM) meeting of the CHP, which was scheduled for Tuesday, December 26, but postponed following the martyrdom of 12 of our soldiers in the Operation Claw-Lock, will be held on January 3.
According to information received, the mayoral candidates for the 23 districts in Istanbul currently held by the AKP and MHP will be announced on Friday, January 5, 2024, at the Haliç Congress Center.
Had the Party Assembly meeting not been postponed, the candidates would have normally been announced to the public today (Wednesday, December 27).
PM MEMBERS WORKING ON IZMIR
On the other hand, it has been learned that all members of the Party Assembly are working intensively today and tomorrow on the process of determining the metropolitan and district mayoral candidates for Izmir.
The candidate interviews by PM members are expected to be completed tomorrow.
