First statement from Özgür Özel following the Can Atalay ruling: 'The Constitutional Court has shown the correct time'
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel spoke for the first time regarding the Constitutional Court's (AYM) second ruling of rights violation concerning imprisoned TİP deputy Can Atalay. Özel stated, Today, the Constitutional Court has shown the correct time. One does not ask what you have to say when the clock shows the correct time. This should be asked to those who distort the truth, those who do not accept the rule of law, and those who constantly make Turkey a subject of controversy.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel commented on the rights violation ruling issued by the Constitutional Court (AYM) regarding imprisoned TİP Deputy Can Atalay.
Özel stated the following:
"Does one ask what you have to say when a clock shows the correct time? The clock has shown the correct time, but those who act wrongly, those who constantly embarrass Turkey, and those who make Turkey a subject of controversy both internally and globally; they must now learn a lesson from these high court rulings. Today, the Constitutional Court has shown the correct time. One does not ask what you have to say when the clock shows the correct time. Undoubtedly, like the previous ones, this ruling must also be implemented. Every minute it remains unimplemented disgraces Turkey before the world."
