87-year-old businessman İnan Kıraç and Emine Alangoya get married

İnan Kıraç has entered into marriage at the age of 87. Kıraç married 75-year-old Emine Alangoya at the Büyükçekmece Marriage Office. Due to his age, Kıraç obtained a medical report from the Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine Hospital to get married.

Emine Alangoya, whom Kıraç married, is a person who has worked in the finance group of Koç Holding for approximately 52 years and currently serves as the general manager of the foundation established by İnan Kıraç. According to the news in Patronlar Dünyası, Emine Alangoya's daughter also started working at the İnan Kıraç Foundation some time ago. Alangoya's other daughter also works at Kıraça Holding.

RELATIONSHIP WITH İNAN KIRAÇ'S DAUGHTER HAS DETERIORATED

Some time ago, Can Kıraç, who linked İnan Kıraç's dismissal of his assistant of 40 years, Ayşe Kurt, and the deterioration of his relationship with many people, especially his daughter İpek Kıraç, to Emine Alangoya without naming her, made the following claim about his older brother İnan Kıraç on his social media in recent months:

"My sister Ayşe Kurt, I evaluated your situation of leaving İnan Kıraç with a calmer mind today. No one can be tied to anyone for a lifetime. However, there are some examples where these unions integrate with the personality of the parties and become an indicator of 'character'. Just like in your case. I blame those who tore İnan Kıraç away from you and İnan for this. As someone who continues to live with the 'Koç culture', I feel 'regret' that İnan Kıraç could not carry the responsibility of being Vehbi Koç's son-in-law."

Artist Durul Bakan shared photos with Emine Alangoya and İnan Kıraç in a post on December 9, adding the note: "It was one of the most meaningful days of my life. We had pleasant conversations about art with Mr. İnan Kıraç and Ms. Emine Alangoya. It was a great honor for me to benefit from Ms. Emine's knowledge and experience. WHO IS BUSINESSMAN İNAN KIRAÇ?

İnan Kıraç is a Turkish businessman and industrialist born in Eskişehir in 1937. At the age of 24, in 1961, he started working as a sales clerk at Ormak A.Ş., which was affiliated with the Koç Group. In 1966, he was appointed General Manager of Otoyol, the manufacturer of Fiat trucks and midibuses. In 1970, he became the General Manager of Tofaş Oto Ticaret, the marketing and distribution company for Fiat automobiles produced in Turkey. He was first appointed as the Vice President of Koç Holding responsible for Tofaş, and later as the President of the Koç Holding Automotive Group. Serving as the CEO of Koç Holding until his retirement in 1998, İnan Kıraç witnessed every moment of the development of the Turkish automotive sector, contributed to every detail as a professional manager, and put his signature on many giant factories. In 1998, İnan Kıraç founded the Kıraça Group of Companies together with Claude Nahum.

After working as an executive in Koç Group companies for many years, he assumed the position of CEO of Koç Holding, and then retired due to age limits. After retirement, Kıraç purchased Karsan from the Koç Group, grew this company, and in addition, entered other businesses and founded Kıraça Holding.

In 2000, İnan Kıraç, together with his wife Suna Kıraç, founded the "Suna and İnan Kıraç Research Institute on Mediterranean Civilizations Antalya Kaleiçi Museum". In 2003, they established the Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation, which operates in the fields of culture, arts, education, and history, and in 2005, the same foundation established the Pera Museum.

On March 1, 2007, he founded the Istanbul Research Institute together with his wife Suna Kıraç. The purpose of the institute is to support research on the Ottoman, Istanbul, Byzantine, and Republican periods.
