There has been a change of CEO at the Ülker Group. Özgür Kölükfakı, a member of the Board of Directors, has been appointed to replace Mete Buyurgan, who had served as CEO for five years. In a statement made by Ülker to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated: "Özgür Kölükfakı, who has been serving as a Board Member, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Ülker Bisküvi Board of Directors and CEO of Ülker Bisküvi, effective as of today."

After graduating from the Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ) Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and completing his master's degree in Business Administration, Kölükfakı joined Unilever in 1998 as a Brand Manager.

Kölükfakı, who has served as a senior executive for nearly 25 years, worked as Vice President of Ice Cream, Food, and Beverages at Unilever Russia between 2012-2015, General Manager for Iran and Central Asia between 2015-2019, and Vice President responsible for the North Africa, Middle East, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus region in the Ice Cream, Beverage, and Food Division between 2019-2022.

Before starting his role at Ülker, Kölükfakı served as the General Manager responsible for Hayat Kimya's Turkey operations.
