DİMES General Manager Cem Kurt passes away

Cem Kurt, a well-known figure in the business world, has passed away in Istanbul at the age of 50. Kurt, who had been serving as the general manager at DİMES since 2023, had previously held senior positions at major companies such as Doğanay, Tamek, Danone, and UNO Unmaş.

Cem Kurt's funeral was held yesterday at the Şakirin Mosque in Üsküdar following the afternoon prayer, and he was laid to rest at the Karacaahmet Cemetery. A graduate of Ankara Atatürk High School and the Ankara University Department of Food Engineering, Kurt held master's degrees in Business Administration and International Marketing.

Kurt, who had been a member of the Board of Directors of the MEYED Fruit Juice Industry Association since 2015, was married and a father of two.
