Wizz Air CEO József Váradi stated in an announcement that changing conditions in the Middle East have made it difficult to achieve operational goals. Váradi emphasized that supply chain issues and geopolitical instability in the region were influential in this decision.

The decision was made following the conflicts between Israel and Iran last month, which caused temporary closures of airspace.
