The most in-demand professions in Turkey have been announced

According to İŞKUR's April 2025 data, the manufacturing industry was the sector with the highest demand for personnel in Turkey, while tourism and hospitality staff, private security guards, and retail clerks were among the most sought-after professions.

The Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) has shared its employment and job vacancy data for April 2025 with the public. According to the report published by the agency, 122 thousand 271 people were employed through İŞKUR in April alone. Of these individuals, 78 thousand 579 were men and 43 thousand 692 were women.

DEMAND PEAKS IN TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY PROFESSIONS

According to the data, the highest number of job placements in the January-April 2025 period occurred in the following fields:

Tourism and Hospitality Staff

Private Security Guard (Unarmed)

Retail Clerk

These professions stood out as the most sought-after roles across the country.

MANUFACTURING SECTOR BECAME THE LOCOMOTIVE OF EMPLOYMENT

When evaluated on a sectoral basis, the field with the highest number of job placements was the manufacturing industry. It was observed that production-oriented companies, in particular, continue to have a need for a qualified workforce.

OVER 210 THOUSAND OPEN POSITIONS AVAILABLE

In April, 210 thousand 116 job vacancy requests were received from employers. In the first four months of the year, this figure reached 743 thousand 951. The majority of the job vacancies came from the private sector.
