Toyota Turkey's new CEO has been announced

Toyota Turkey General Manager and CEO Erdoğan Şahin will retire in January 2026, and Murat Bülbül will be appointed in his place.

Toyota Otomotiv Sanayi Türkiye A.Ş. has announced that current General Manager and CEO Erdoğan Şahin will step down from his position as of January 1, 2026, and that Murat Bülbül will be appointed to this role. Şahin joined the team during the establishment phase of Toyota Turkey in 1992 and has since achieved significant success while serving in various roles in Turkey, Europe, and Japan. Having served as General Manager and CEO since 2022, Şahin will retire after more than 33 years of service.

Murat Bülbül played a significant role in the production preparations for the 8th generation Corolla produced in Turkey and has taken on active duties in the development of new models with high quality standards. Between 2020 and 2024, he served as General Manager of Production Planning at Toyota Motor Europe in Brussels, and subsequently as Vice President in charge of Production Management at Toyota France. Returning to Turkey in 2024, Bülbül assumed the role of Deputy General Manager in charge of Finance and Administrative Affairs.

Murat Bülbül is married and a father of two.
